Brunswick lies right along the historic C&O canal and the scenic Potomac River. Riders will be challenged first by portions of the local high school XC running course, then after tucking into the woods behind the middle school, they’ll face the Rivers Edge Trails with single track climbs and descents and some beautifully designed switchbacks. Do your passing early in the lap! This is perhaps our best spectator event with the start/finish in a huge grass bowl and a tightly wrapped course featuring numerous short laps.

Rosaryville State Park will offer a thrilling ride and allow riders to enjoy a race loop that tests both their riding skills as well as their tactical racing skills. The course features a double track section starting off to allow riders to spread out, then after diving into the single track at the 1 mile mark, they will be treated to some of the smoothest, swoopiest, and most flowy trail that they will see all year. There are no significant climbs on the lap, so average speeds and spirits will remain high as the trail twists and turns through the woods. There is one driveway crossing to be aware of (we’ll have a marshal there) otherwise, let it rip!

Fair Hill Natural Resource Management Area lies just south of the Mason Dixon in Elkton, MD. Once owned by the du Pont family, this nearly 6,000 acre tract of land is host to world-class equestrian facilities and steeped in history. The old growth forests and scenic pastures will make for an incredible kickoff for the Maryland league. Riders will be treated to fun, twisty single track and the shoulders of open fields enjoyed by equestrians. The rolling topography provides a challenging series of climbs and descents.

Nestled in the heart of Montgomery Country is one of Maryland’s best known trail systems. Surrounded in rich cultural history and beautiful scenery, our student-athletes will experience flowing single track, roots and punchy climbs. Riders will be tested along our new and improved course, but also rewarded with great trail flow and more safe passing opportunities than last year.
